As the competition progressed, her performances continued to impress the audience. During the live quarterfinals, she delivered a rendition of Soundgarden’s “Black Hole Sun” that earned her a Golden Buzzer from Mel B and directly secured her place in the final.

Nene ultimately won the competition, becoming the first Thai artist to claim the America’s Got Talent title and taking home the show’s US$1 million prize. This victory marks an extraordinary milestone, showing how passion and perseverance can lead to an achievement recognized around the world.

On the 4th of October, Siam Paragon hosted “Welcome NENE ROYAL: Win The World for Thailand,” a special event honouring her historic achievement. Her victory even inspired a song. Veteran Thai musician Add Carabao composed “เนเน่นายแน่มาก,” which can be translated as “Nene, You’re Amazing,” to congratulate her on her achievement. The song brought together established Thai musicians in a celebration of her talent and success.

It quickly gained attention online, with Thai audiences embracing the tribute through humour and playful reactions. But beyond its catchy title, the song reflected a wider sense of national pride: the joy of seeing one of their own succeed internationally.
